Maryland -–(Ammoland.com)- We need people Thursday and Friday.

If you haven’t been yet, now is the time to go. The Governor’s staff is putting heavy pressure on a number of Delegates to pass his disenfranchisement bill.

There isn’t much time left; this is not the time to say “someone else will do it.”

If you can’t go Thursday, go Friday. The Governor is pushing with all his might to rip away every gain we’ve made. He is trying to convince Delegates that there is some silent majority out there supporting him. We know the truth, but Delegates are beginning to crumble under the pressure. We need another strong push. We need to pack the halls of Annapolis this week and next week. We will continue to show them that we remain watchful.

The best time to approach members of a committee is to be in the room prior to the beginning of the meeting, generally 12PM or 1PM. Introduce yourself to the committee members. Thank our friends for their support and remind those who are on the fence or plan to oppose the bill that “Gun Control Helps No One” and “Self Defense Is A Civil Right.”

If SB 281 passes the House, some 1,000 jobs and $200 million in revenue will be lost. Businesses like Beretta, LWRC and Adcor will leave Maryland if the bill passes.

The following Delegates represent areas that will suffer heavy job losses if SB 281 becomes law. Remind them that if Maryland loses jobs and revenue as part of the Governor’s bill, you will remember that in 2014. You will remember that the Governor put 1,000 Marylanders into the unemployment line but couldn’t stand for enhanced penalties for violent criminals in a bill he says makes us safer.

Delegate Wade Kach (Baltimore County), 410-841-3359

Delegate Curt Anderson (Baltimore City), 410-841-3291

Delegate Nathaniel Oaks (Baltimore City), 410-841-3283

Delegate Jill Carter (Baltimore City), 410-841-3268

Delegate Eric Bromwell (Baltimore County), 410-841-3766

Delegate Kathleen Dumais (Montgomery County, Vice-Chair Judiciary, head of gun working group), 301-858-3052

We need to pay special attention to Curt Anderson. Reports are coming in that he is not receiving a strong showing of opposition from his constituents.
